Instead of actually glass shot glasses would it be okay for me to use plastic ones?

I know we are trying to move away from obviously modern items but I rather not deal with broken glass.

Unless you can find a plastic that mimics glass well, I'd say no. But, that's just me.

Jay? What are your thoughts?

We usually try to stick with wooden/metal/glass for the purposes of looking period.

I'd say as long as they're not just tiny solo cups fine. But I'm not an actual authority.

I used plastic shot glasses at the bar an no-one really seemed to notice. Shot glasses that happen to be made out of plasic (like something intended for picnicking that's dishawasher-safe level of durable) are better than disposable cups.
